• The stacking rule in this game allows players to stack and draw penalties of the same type or number.
• Color doesn’t matter when it comes to stacking. Players can stack draw penalties of any color, provided they are the same kind.
• If a player plays a draw 2, the next player can stack it with their own draw 2. The next player has to draw four cards unless he has a draw 2 or a draw 4 of his own.

Game Setup

The first step in playing UNO Show’ Em No Mercy (or any card game, for that matter) is to appoint a dealer. This dealer has to shuffle the cards and pass 7 cards face down to each player. The dealer and the players can only choose or look at the cards after they are handed out. 

After handing out 7 cards to each player (including the dealer themselves), the dealer flips the top card of the face-down pile. Gameplay

• The first player to begin is the player to the immediate right or left of the dealer (can be mutually decided).
• This player has to match the first card in the discard pile.

• Stacking is allowed in UNO Show’ Em No Mercy, which means players do not have to draw if they are hit with a draw penalty unless they do not have stackable cards.

Cards

• Numbered Cards – These are regular cards marked from 0 to 9. These do not have any actions associated with them (except for 0 and 7). There are 80 numbered cards in each card deck.
• Discard All – This card allows you to do away with all the cards of the same color as the discard all card. For example, if you have a blue discard-all card, you can put down all the blue cards you have along with the discard-all card. There are 12 discard cards in each deck.
• Skip—This regular skip card skips the next player’s turn if played. There are 12 regular skip cards.
• Reverse—A regular reverse simplifies the order of the game. If the game proceeds in a clockwise order, then playing a reverse card will change the order of play to anti-clockwise and vice versa. There are 12 reverse cards in each deck.
• Skip Everyone – This is a special card, which, when played, skips one turn for every other player. This means that if you play this card, all other players are skipped for one round. The next turn to play is yours again. There are 8 cards of this kind.
• Draw 2 – This is a regular draw penalty card. If a player plays a draw 2 card, then the next player has to draw 2 cards unless they have a draw 2 of their own. Every UNO Show’ Em No Mercy deck has 8 Draw 2 cards.
• Draw 4 – This is the same as that of draw 2, except that players have to draw 4 cards when this is played unless they have a draw 4 of their own. This card is also stackable, and the player who played it can also choose the color of the gameplay. There are 8 of these cards.
• Wild Draw 6 – The Wild Draw 6 is another Wild Card which can be played on top of any card. Once played, the next player will have to draw 6 cards (unless they have one of their own). It is also stackable, and the player who plays this card will dictate which color everyone will have to play. There are 4 of these cards in each deck.
• Wild Draw 10 – The Wild Draw 10 forces the next player to draw 10 cards at once. It is stackable and allows the player to call the color. Every deck has 4 of these cards.
• Wild Reverse Draw 4 – This acts as both a Wild Draw 4 and a reverse card. If you play this, you get to decide the color, reverse the order of play, and the player next to you (after the play has been reversed) has to draw 4 cards. There are 8 of these cards in each deck.
• Wild Color Roulette – When you play this card, the next player has to choose a color. Then, they will have to keep drawing from the pile till they get a card of that color. All of the drawn cards are added to that player’s hand. Since it is also a wild card, it can be played after any card. Every UNO Show’ Em No Mercy deck has 8 of these cards.
